SonderEQ ("we," "our," or "us") values truth, clarity, and trust — the foundations of all meaningful relationships. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our communication platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). We are committed to transparency and to using technology to amplify human connection, not exploit it. SonderEQ, Inc. is a Delaware corporation with headquarters in the United States.
We collect information to deliver our Services effectively and securely.
When you use our Services, we may automatically collect:
We may receive information from organizational partners or service providers (e.g., uploaded membership lists) to help us deliver the Services.
Where an organization directs us to, we may also receive contextual or historical records from other systems that organization already uses — for example participation, engagement, or operational data — so that insights can be analyzed over time alongside information collected through our Services. We receive such data only at that organization's instruction and use it only to provide the Services to that organization. Such data is subject to the same sharing limits described in Section 4 — including the commitments on mobile phone numbers and text messaging consent, which are unaffected.
We use the information we collect to:
We never sell personal information. We may use aggregated or de-identified data to improve the performance of our Services — never in a way that identifies individuals.
We share data only when necessary:
We do not share data for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won't be shared with any third parties.
For clarity: mobile phone numbers and text messaging opt-in data collected through our Services are never sold, and are never shared with third parties or affiliates for any purpose, including marketing or promotional purposes. Access to this information is limited to two parties, neither of which is a third party for this purpose: the organization you chose to receive messages from, which is the sender of those messages, and the communications infrastructure providers (such as Twilio) that deliver them on our instruction, acting solely as our service providers. No one else receives this information. You may revoke your consent at any time by replying STOP to any message.
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. When no longer needed, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
Where an organization has directed us to hold historical or imported records so that insights can be analyzed over time (see Section 2c), we retain those records for as long as that organization instructs, and delete them at its request.

Our Services are not directed toward individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
If you access our Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred and processed in the U.S. We apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.
